RIDE-AFRICA Appoints New Board to Strengthen Governance and Growth.

RIDE-AFRICA is happy to announce a new Board of Directors. This new team brings energy, new ideas, and strong commitment to the organization’s work. Together, they will help RIDE-AFRICA grow and reach more communities.

The Board members have wide experience in many areas. These include environmental governance, management, finance, fundraising, planning, monitoring and evaluation among others. They come from different backgrounds in both development and humanitarian work. This diversity will help RIDE-AFRICA stay strong and adapt to new challenges.

The Board’s main goal is to promote good governance, strengthen the organization, and guide program growth and sustainability. They will focus on better planning, fundraising, and visibility so that RIDE-AFRICA can increase its impact across the region.

The new Board first meeting was held in June 2025. During this meeting, members agreed to form key committees on Finance, Human Resources, and Fundraising. These committees will support good leadership and ensure that the organization has enough resources. The committees will be fully active by the end of November 2025.

 

With this committed and forward-looking Board, RIDE-AFRICA is ready for the next chapter of growth and service.
