Fort Portal City Focal Point Person, Mrs. Evans Muzinduki, has commended RIDE-AFRICA for its outstanding contribution towards improving community health and supporting the city’s efforts to control maternal deaths, malaria, tuberculosis (TB), and HIV/AIDS.
Mrs. Muzinduki praised the organization’s community-based approach, noting that its mobilization and sensitization activities have empowered residents with vital health information and improved access to essential services. She highlighted RIDE-AFRICA’s work in maternal health, ensuring that expectant mothers receive timely antenatal care and deliver safely under skilled supervision.
She further recognized the organization’s commitment to malaria prevention, promotion of TB and HIV testing and counseling, and its role in reducing stigma through education and follow-up support.
According to Mrs. Muzinduki, RIDE-AFRICA’s grassroots engagement has strengthened the connection between communities and health facilities, contributing significantly to Fort Portal City’s public health goals.
