STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

 

4.1 To enhance organizational capacity and leadership: Focus areas: Organizational leadership and governance, Strong internal management practices, offering staff training for professional development, staff retention and motivation.

4.2 To strengthen resource management, sustainability and strategic partnerships. Focus areas: a) strengthening financial   management system, b) diversifying fundraising efforts, c) Improving M & E and reporting.

4.3 Establishing permanent headquarters for the organization to enhance operational efficiency and generating income through hire of conference facility and services to CBOs and NGOs. Focus areas: a) Acquiring land for the headquarters, (b) constructing a facility with office space, counseling wings, conference halls, and dining areas.

4.4 To establish Credit and Cooperatives Savings (SACCO) for rural women self-help groups and village savings and loan associations (VSLAs). Focus areas include: (a) developing a robust SACCO model in 2 districts, (b) offering microfinance services to rural women, and (c) provide training in financial management and entrepreneurship.

 

 

This program focuses on enhancing the internal capacity of RIDE AFRICA to effectively lead its mission of promoting human rights, gender equality, environmental sustainability, and democratic governance in Uganda. The goal is to build and sustain a robust organizational framework that enhances the organization’s ability to implement programs, attract resources, and engage with key stakeholders. By strengthening RIDE AFRICA’s institutional capacity, the program will ensure that the organization can deliver high-quality programs and services, effectively manage operations, and drive social change.
