Masereka Stephen aged 18 years a resident of Nyabibya village Nombe sub county Ntoroko district joined the program in November 2015 upon completing ordinary level s4 and stopped because there was no more money to push him to Advanced level
He heard about the about registration from his friends who had been into the program the year before. One of the things he learnt and put much emphasis was savings which he labored save half of the little he received always
I was able to buy one she goat at 75000 from the village as his startup which he sold off
after 1 month getting a profit of 20,000 he then started trading mattoke which he used to buy from within the village and sold in markets of kyakagusa and karago and karugutu during the market days.
From this he raised 450,000 and was able to buy five goats at the moment and of which one has a kid making the total number 6 goats.
Stephen is amember of nyamisingigiri developmenta actors but he did all the above before the group received its startup support which he has a future plan of buying acow that will enable him kick start his dream of cattle trade
